HISTORIC CENTER – In the exclusive Tridente neighborhood, in the immediate vicinity of Via del Babuino and Piazza di Spagna, we offer for sale a delightful apartment set in a period setting, enhanced by the presence of a pleasant outdoor space overlooking the characteristic rooftops of the Historic Center.
The property consists of: entrance, large day/night area, separate kitchen and bathroom with large shower stall. The property is completed by a level terrace with suggestive views of the city’s rooftops, a reserved space that is difficult to find in such a central location, ideal for pleasant moments of relaxation outdoors.
The rooms preserve architectural elements typical of the homes of the historic Roman center, including the splendid ceilings with exposed wooden beams and parquet flooring, which give the property charm and authenticity. The large openings also ensure excellent brightness and create a pleasant continuity with the external space. The location, in the heart of one of the most sought-after and prestigious areas of Rome, together with the character of the property and the presence of the terrace, makes the property a particularly interesting solution both as a foothold in the Historic Center and as an excellent investment opportunity.
The request price is € 550,000.00 – Real estate consultant: Daniele Battisti – Isabella Cupioli RIF122BH26 Tel. 06 96006341
Piazza di Spagna owes its name to the Palace of Spain, home to the embassy of the Iberian State to the Holy See. A Romantic center of nineteenth-century Rome, it immediately assumed a very important commercial role due to the presence of many hotels and houses inhabited by foreigners, attracted to this area by representatives of the Spanish and French governments. Under the pontificate of Innocent XIII, and under the direction of the Roman architect Francesco De Santis, the Staircase of Trinità dei Monti was built, a scenic connection between the slopes of the Pincio, dominated by the church of SS. Trinity, and the Piazza di Spagna below, which was a meeting place for all citizens; in fact, even today, the steps are a meeting and gathering place, so much so that they have been called the “living room of Rome.” At the top of the steps is the church of Trinità dei Monti while in the centre of the square is the fountain known as the “Barcaccia”, the work of Pietro Bernini.
