Rione Celio is the nineteenth district of Rome, takes its name from the Caelian Hill on which it extends, and is one of the Seven Hills of ancient Rome. During the period of Ancient Rome, many buildings arose in this area, such as the Nymphaeum of Nero, the Claudian aqueduct and the Colosseum, the largest and most famous amphitheatre, symbol of Rome, which attracts large crowds from all over the world.
